Mauricio Pochettino could have a very busy summer with reports that Spurs, having signed no players in the last two transfer windows, could be about to sell up to 12 players.

A top four finish still seems like a huge achievement for Spurs. The club were not so long ago far from a top four side but over recent years Mauricio Pochettino has transformed them into a member of the Premier League's elite.

This season the team spent a good amount of time fighting for the title, being the third man in the fight between Liverpool and Manchester City, but recent results have seen them plummet from the top two and they're now in a battle to stay in the top four.

It's still quite the achievement considering Spurs are there, and in the Champions League quarter finals, without spending a single penny on players this season.

The only permanent transfer business to be done by the club was the sale of Mousa Dembele to Guangzhou R&F in January but things are about to change.

According to the Evening Standard Pochettino is considering selling up to 12 players this summer. The Argentine will listen to offers for Kieran Trippier, Serge Aurier, Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld, Vincent Janssen, Fernando Llorente, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Victor Wanyama all up for consideration. The piece adds that Erik Lamela and Moussa Sissoko could be sold if significant bids are made.

The report says that the club feel that a big improvement can be signed at right back, hence both Tripper and Aurier being available, with Crystal Palace's Aaron Wan-Bissaka on the list of replacements.

Spurs also want to sign a new midfielder in the summer, especially since Dembele has been sold, to strengthen next season's campaign.

Toby Alderweireld has often been linked with a move away from the club in recent years and is reportedly available for £25 million this summer because of a clause in his deal.

As well as those players on the list Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen both only have 12 months left on their deals and the club will want to sign them to new deals or possibly consider selling them.

Who will be in Spurs' squad next season?
