Neymar, once again, was doing the rounds in the transfer rumours mills after declaring his admiration for the Premier League while flirting with the idea of playing in England's top flight.

The Brazilian named Manchester United, among others, as a club he admires, not to mention praising manager Jose Mourinho.

Speaking to The Sun, Neymar revealed, "The Premier League is a championship that amazes me.

"I like the playing style and the teams. And who knows, someday, I would like to play at it, yes.

"I admire Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool - these are the teams that are always there fighting.

"And then you have high-level coaches like [Jose] Mourinho and [Pep] Guardiola. These are coaches with whom any player would like to work.

"In the Premier League you never know who is going to win or who will be champions, it is always a surprise."

It's now being reported in Spain that United are plotting a monster bid for the Barcelona star once the transfer window reopens in the summer.

According to Spanish outlet SPORT, Mourinho is prepared to trigger Neymar's eye-watering £172 million release clause to land his services.

The report also continues by adding that Neymar would also be pocketing a mind-blowing salary of £21 million-a-year.

Mourinho remains hellbent on bringing Neymar to Old Trafford who is reportedly keen on the move as he'll "escape the shadow of Leo Messi."
