And the latest rumour surfacing emanates from Italy via Sky Italia who claim Manchester City are set to make an offer in the region of £104-135 million!

That's where Donnarumma comes into the mix.

The Spaniard is hoping to secure the services of his ideal candidate as they mount a serious threat on all fronts come next season with the Premier League out of reach this campaign, as well as failing to progress in the Champions League.

It appears City will flex their financial muscle in order to land their man.

Though the fallen-European giants could return to their glory days if their takeover comes to fruition. But their transfer priorities will lie in holding onto Donnarumma who's reportedly stalling on contract talks which has alerted clubs.

Could the monster offer be too hard to turn down?
