When Harry Kane steps onto the Bernabeu pitch on Tuesday night he will face both the biggest test in his Spurs career and one team who are starting to make serious noises about signing him. But Real Madrid will have to fork up a lot of money.

At the beginning of the season there was still some people debating whether or not one season wonder Harry Kane was a world class striker, you'd like to think after his start to the season most people are on board.

Once again Kane was barren in August but has scored 11 goals in just 10 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham this season, not many other players can go a month without scoring and have those stats.

But the increasingly good performances means an increase in interest in signing the 24 year old and a lot of that interest is starting to come from Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane, just in time for Spurs meeting with Real in the Champions League.

But if Real want to sign Kane then, according to the Times, they will have to pay more than PSG paid for Neymar with Daniel Levy valuing the English striker at 'more than £200 million.'

The club have no interest in selling Kane, or any of their big names, but as Levy has proved in the past every player has his price and when it comes to the Spurs chairman it's usually a big one.

Levy has become well known for his awkward negotiating which particularly riled Sir Alex Ferguson. The north London side have no interest in selling Kane until he's played at least one season in their new stadium.

Real started their usual charm offensive with a player they want to sign, that has been seen many times, with Zidane yesterday saying, "I don't know what will happen in the future. But in the present, what he [Kane] is doing has made him a very important player, a key player. He is a complete player."

With Spanish newspapers also starting to link Los Blancos with a move it won't be long till they come calling but if they do Florentino Perez better have a very large cheque with Spurs name on it.
