Shkodran Mustafi's Agent Confirms Talks With Barcelona Over Potential Move
Barcelona could complete the surprise signing of the season, with Shkodran Mustafi's agent confirming he's spoken to the La Liga giants about signing the centre back.
This week Emre Ozturk posted a video on Instagram outside the Nou Camp with the caption 'ready for a meeting,' people thought it could be to do with Yusuf Demir.
The 17-year-old Rapid Wien forward, who Ozturk also represents, has a lot of potential and it was thought Barcelona could be looking to add more youth talent to their ranks.
No one expected that it would be to do with Mustafi but, talking to Fox Sports, the agent confirmed that it is for the Germany centre back.
"I'm not in Barcelona because of Yusuf Demir, but because of Shkodran Mustafi from Arsenal, whom we also represent," the agent said.
Barcelona are in need of an experienced centre back after Gerard Pique's unfortunate injury last month, which he picked up against league leaders Atletico Madrid.

Pique left the pitch in tears after a collision with Angel Correa and he could be out for six months or potentially even the rest of the season.
Ronald Koeman doesn't have much cover in defence so is in need of bringing someone in during the January transfer window.
Mustafi could make sense from a financial point of view, as the 28-year-old is unlikely to cost them much, after being so badly affected by the Covid-19 crisis.

The Arsenal defender has fallen out of favour for the struggling Emirates side and has only made two appearances in the Premier League so far this season, despite their poor form, both off the bench.
Gabriel, Rob Holding and David Luiz are all ahead of him in the pecking order and even with Mikel Arteta's side often playing three central defenders he can't get in the squad.
Previously Barca, who aren't doing great themselves this season, have been linked with a move for Manchester City's Eric Garcia.
The Spanish centre back, who initially moved to England from the Catalan giants, is out of contract in the summer and can sign a pre contract agreement in January, but doesn't help for their immediate issues.
