Riyad Mahrez has been linked with several footballing giants in the Premier League and also abroad since his sensational Premier League winning season with Leicester FC in 2015/2016, but it seems that the on-going transfer saga may now have reached a conclusion.
With a turbulent transfer window last summer, the Algerian's future seemed very much in doubt with him wanting a move away from The Foxes, with reported interest from Arsenal, Monaco, Roma and even the Catalonian Giants Barcelona, it seemed thathe would be on the move.

Mahrez released a statement outlining his wish to leave the club and this resulted in bids from Roma, airport trips waiting to finalise deals, blocked moves to Arsenal and then later in the January transfer window, Manchester City.
The transfer gossip continued throughout the January transfer window as reported interest from Liverpool grew bigger. Manchester City were later heavily linked with The Algerian once again as they made a 'final offer' as they proposed a reported deal of around £65 million.

This move was blocked and then representatives of Mahrez claimed he was 'depressed' after the move broke down and was frustrated with the way that Leicester acted. Mahrez missed the next game v Swansea and then later returned to training.
Despite Mahrez's disappointment at his move to the Manchester City being blocked, reports have emerged in the last few days that Manchester City are once again heavily linked with the Algerian international.
