Hatem Ben Arfa's time in the Premier League started brightly before quickly fading away first at Newcastle and then at Hull. He had problems getting back into football but at Nice this season he's been a revelation, could he return to the Premier League?

The winger's resurgence in Ligue 1 this year has seen him earn a recall to the French national side and he could yet make the squad for his home Euros this summer, he should certainly make France's initial 30 man squad.

However the 29 year-old's contract runs out at the end of the season so he instantly becomes a very good option to sign. French super power PSG are favourites to sign him but if he fancies a return to England then according to L'Equipe Liverpool have made an offer for the player with Chelsea's forthcoming.

According to the French newspaper Atletico Madrid and AC Milan have also made offers for the tricky winger who would be a welcome addition to any team and looks certain to leave Nice this summer even if it is currently unclear which side he'd go to.

It's yet to be seen whether or not he would return to the Premier League. During his last spell he had some good times with Newcastle, despite having his leg broken by Nigel de Jong, before his relationship with Alan Pardew soured. A loan spell with Hull was cut short when Steve Bruce didn't know where his player was.

With 16 goals in 30 appearances the Frenchman has proved what a valuable player he can be. Where should he move to?

Both Liverpool and Chelsea are set for big summers. Liverpool will get a full pre-season under Jurgen Klopp and they could head into it with Champions League football should they win the Europa League and lots of momentum if they can keep up their current form. Chelsea will be hoping for a huge upturn in fortune from last season with Antonio Conte at the helm.

At Anfield, Klopp will be bringing in the players who suit his Gegenpressing tactics whilst getting shot of any players he doesn't believe are up to the standard the Reds need to be at if they are to get back into the top four or possibly even challenge for the title. Whether he goes back to former club Dortmund to sign anyone remains to be seen however former Dortmund star Mario Gotze could be available if he doesn't feature in Carlo Ancelotti's plans at Bayern Munich.

Chelsea arguably have an even bigger summer with a huge transition set to take place. It's probably not ideal that Conte won't arrive until Italy are out of Euro 2016, so Roman Abramovich will hope it's an early exit. John Terry needs replacing whilst most players have underperformed this season so Conte will have to get rid of any deadwood or find a way of motivating them back towards the title.

It's set to be a big summer at Anfield and Stamford Bridge.
