Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn was fired after old tweets from him resurfaced and Jurgen Klopp will be able to empathise with things you once said being brought up against you in the future.
Gunn was fired by Disney from Guardians of the Galaxy 3 after 'jokey' tweets about subjects such as rape resurfaced that he'd posted as far back as 2009.
Of course Klopp hasn't tweeted anything as offensive and his comments don't go anywhere near as far back but something the Liverpool manager said about Paul Pogba's move to Manchester United two summers ago really has come back to bite him.
Back then the German was critical of how much United spent, saying, "Other clubs can go out and spend more money and collect top players. I want to do it differently. I would even do it differently if I could spend that money."

In January Liverpool broke the world transfer record for a defender, splashing out £75 million for Virgil van Dijk, and followed that up this week with a world transfer record £65 million move for a goalkeeper, Alisson.
Klopp defended his previous statement from two years ago saying, "That's the problem these days. Whatever bulls**t you say, nobody will forget it. On the other side, it is still kind of true. I couldn't imagine the world would change like that from two-and-a-half years ago.
"One hundred million was a crazy amount of money. Since then the world has changed completely and we have signed the most-expensive goalkeeper and all that stuff.

"We don't care what the world around us is thinking, like Man United didn't care about what I said. It's only an opinion in that moment.
"Did I change my opinion? Yes. That's true. But it's better to change your opinion than never have one.
"Whatever people say about that and bring it up again and again, I have had worse days in my life and worse things. I am fine with that. We have the players we wanted. I am fine with that."
Of course Klopp is right in some ways about the market changing ever since Neymar moved to PSG but Manchester United fans will still take umbrage with the fact that Klopp specifically said, "I would even do it differently if I could spend that money."

The Liverpool manager won't really care though, as he rightly said, and fans of the Reds will care even less if the likes of Alisson, Van Dijk, Naby Keita and Fabinho help lead the team to success.
