Real Madrid To Tell Cristiano Ronaldo To 'Find A New Club'

He decided to make it known after the Champions League final that he wanted to leave the Bernabeu.

365 days later and writing about Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid seems like the same thing from last year but this time the club have told him to go and find a buyer.

Another summer and another time that Cristiano Ronaldo never wants to play for Real Madrid again. For a man who said that this time last year he went on to play 42 times for Los Blancos last season.

This time round the five time Ballon d'Or winner didn't say it on the back of a tax evasion claim but instead after Real won their third Champions League final in a row.

Ronaldo barely stalled to shout 'siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii' at the full time whistle before he was telling journalists that he fancied leaving the Spanish capital, partially stealing the limelight from Gareth Bale.

Reports after that came out that the Portuguese superstars fellow Real mates already knew weeks before the final that the former world's most expensive player wanted to leave.

It still feels unlikely that he'll be leaving Los Blancos but that's just because we've been here before but according to Spanish paper AS Real won't be handing him a new big contract and will tell him to go and find a buyer if he does want to leave.

Of course a cynic would say that the noise that he wants to leave is all down to him actually wanting a new contract at the Bernabeu to get him on parity with Lionel Messi and Neymar.

So if Real aren't going to hand him a new deal then perhaps the departure could actually happen.

The 33 year old has a €1 billion transfer release clause and officially Real want that much if they're to sell their superstar.

However Florentino Perez could be willing to let Ronaldo go for less if they can find someone to make an offer.

The 13 times Champions League winners have a desire to bring Neymar to the Bernabeu and if PSG want Ronaldo then there could be a deal to be done with the pair.

It still seems like Ronaldo leaving Real is far away but it's definitely possible.
