Real Madrid might be the two time defending Champions League winners but right now things aren't actually going too well for Zinedine Zidane's team. That has led them to eye up two players from Borussia Dortmund.
No one had ever defended the Champions League title until Real Madrid beat Juventus back in May but the 12 times champions were actually expected to win it for a third time in a row this season.
But Zinedine Zidane's side have not started this term the way that was expected. After just 11 games Los Blancos find themselves eight points behind Barcelona in La Liga whilst a draw and loss against Spurs in the Champions League has left them second in the group.

It's no surprise then that Florentino Perez is already contemplating strengthening the side and Zidane's reign as manager could start to come under pressure should results continue in a similar vein.
Perez loves to make a big name signing and according to El Gol the president of the club is eyeing up moves for two of Borussia Dortmund's best players in forward Christian Pulisic and midfielder Julian Weigl.

The website also report that Lucas Vázquez and Marcos Llorente and could be the two to be sold in order for the Bundesliga pair to be brought into the Real squad.
Dortmund have been a bit of a selling side over the last few years and sold Ousmane Dembele in the summer to Real's rivals Barcelona as a replacement for Neymar.

Dortmund have lost three of their last four games in the Bundesliga and have fallen six points behind Bayern Munich in the league whilst they have been poor in the Champions League and are in third in Real's group.
