Real Madrid Star Is Heading To China According To Reports

Just when Jorge Mendes' client Angel Di Maria was being heavily linked with a move to China, it appears another one of his big names is also set for a move to the Far East.

Reports surfaced over the weekend that the super-agent was in preliminary discussions with a Chinese Super League side.

And you can now add Pepe to the list.

The Real Madrid defender's contract expires at the end of the season meaning he can test the waters come January.

According to renown Spanish outlet Marca, they've gone as far as saying the Portuguese nutcase "has a foot and a half in China."

Following the extension of a few Real players, Pepe was hoping to get on in the action, too. But he's failed to tie down his future with the club prompting the speculation.

The La Liga giants were keen on offering just the one-year-deal to the 33-year-old experience player.

The outfit tracking his situation Hebei Fortune - managed by ex-Real boss Manuel Pellegrini - are prepared to throw him a boat load of cash.

Pepe is currently on 4.5 million euros but the CSL team would net him a whopping 10 million euros AFTER tax.
