Real Madrid have forked out 10 million euros for the player dubbed as the 'New Zlatan Ibrahimovic'. Alexander Isak is on the verge of completing a deal to sign with the European giants.

At the tender age of 16 years and 199 days, the AIK forward became the clubs youngest ever scorer after bagging the second in a 2-0 win over Swedish side Ostersünds last year.

Followed by impressive league outings, Isak was subject to plenty of attention including Premier League trio Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, not to mention Bayern Munich.

And the budding youngster also opened his Sweden account subsequently becoming their youngest ever scorer at just 17.

And according to AS & Marca, the teenage sensation will put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal while his agent will travel to the capital to seal the deal.

After Real Madrid had a bid rejected for the player last December, it appears the Swedish club have eventually succumbed to their pressure, though the writing was always on the wall with a talent like this on their books.

Despite Los Blancos' FIFA transfer ban, the club are allowed to sign players though must register them next summer. Loopholes, eh?

Big things are expected from Isak, though his transfer is identical to that of Martin Odegaard. A wonderkid moving to Real but failing to break into 'Zizou's' side prompted him being loaned out.

Expect an official confirmation in the coming days. Watch this space.
