Real Madrid are the latest European giant said to be showing a strong interest in Fulham wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon.

The likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham have all been tracking Sessegnon, but as per AS, citing The Guardian, 12-time European champions Real have been monitoring his progress very closely and have been impressed with what they have seen.

Incredibly, Sessegnon has played over 50 games as a professional at the tender age of 17 and looks well on his way to having a brilliant career in the game.

Capable of playing as a left-back or further up the pitch as a left-winger, the England Under 19 international hit headlines last month when he scored a hat-trick in a thrilling 5-4 win over Sheffield United.

In scoring those three goals at Bramall Lane, he became the first 17-year old since Dele Alli to score a hat-trick in the top four divisions in England.

His stock continues to rise and links to Real highlight just how well he is playing at the moment, having made 26 appearances for the Championship outfit this term.

Cottagers boss Slavisa Jokanovic takes pride in the fact his player is being linked with the big guns, but acknowledges, with the rate at which he is growing, he could well leave the club if a hefty offer comes in.

"It's nice for him [to be linked with a move] and for the club too," Jokanovic is quoted as saying, via Goal.

"And if you want to say, it's nice for myself, I must be satisfied because big clubs are interested in our player.

"I wish he is going to stay with me, but it's not in my control. I believe he's a clever man, believe the people around him are clever enough, he's played more than 50 games, he's 17.

"I know in the past in the last summer there's been interest around him but he took the decision to stay with us - a fantastic decision in my opinion.

"The future for this kid is bright, I don't know when some news will happen. Right now this kid plays so well, I can't control this situation.

"We believe he's going to be an important player in this country and in the future for the English national team."
