Real Madrid Lining Up Eye Watering £340 Million Move For Kylian Mbappe
Real Madrid have been linked with a ridiculous £340 million move for Kylian Mbappe, which would smash the world record transfer fee by nearly £150 million.
PSG star Mbappe is one of the hottest talents in world football and is the kind of player every team would want and Real are chief amongst them.
The Spanish side wanted to sign the Frenchman in 2017 but moved back to Paris instead. They were again linked with him last summer but no deal materialised, but that could soon change.
Calciomercato report that Los Blancos are eyeing up a £343 million move for the World Cup winner, with PSG unlikely to even consider an offer unless it's huge.
The 20-year-old was a serious part of Zinedine Zidane's plans in the summer but Los Blancos failed to get rid of the likes of Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Isco.
Zidane was allowed to spend big in the summer as the club looked to bounce back from the previous season that saw them get knocked out of the last 16 of the Champions League.
The 13 time European champions bought Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic in forward positions, to finally replace Cristiano Ronaldo who left the summer before, whilst Rodrygo also joined from Santos.
It's been a mixed start to the season for the Bernabeu club and they currently sit second in La Liga, only behind leaders Barcelona on goal difference, but they are second in their Champions League group, five points behind PSG.
Zizou has been under pressure at times already this season but it wouldn't be a surprise if the board backed him with a huge bid for Mbappe.
£343 million would destroy the current transfer world record, which currently stands at £198 million, which is how much the Ligue 1 champions spent on Neymar, the same summer they first signed Mbappe.
Neymar has also been linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes and was heavily chased by Barcelona last summer, whether the Parisens would allow both forwards to go remains to be seen.
Will Real really bid that much to sign Mbappe?
