Mino Raiola Hints At Mario Balotelli's Future And Gives Him Ridiculous Price Tag

The Nice striker is available for free at the end of the season but the Italian's super agent has claimed he's worth a lot more than that.

Mario Balotelli is a favourite of ours at SPORTbible towers because he's always good for a headline but the Italian striker has been quiet recently. His agents latest claim means we could be about to see Mario back on a bigger stage.

From fireworks in the bathroom to fireworks on the pitch there isn't many occasions that Mario Balotelli can't light up. His 'why always me' t-shirt will forever be remembered.

In recent years Balo has been a bit quieter. After his time at Liverpool was a bust and his return to AC Milan didn't go too much better he went off to Ligue 1 to play for Nice.

Check out our video on some of Mario's maddest moments:

Of course he's still been able to mix a penchant for goalscoring with a tradition of getting sent off. This season he's only seen red once but has bagged 13 league goals.

In that form he'll be a top signing for anyone when his contract runs out in the summer and agent Mino Raiola has hinted where his client could end up whilst also claiming he's worth €100 million. Speaking to Italian tv channel RAI Raiola said:

"Mario is ready to come back to Italy. He is one of the 10 best strikers in the world, and the No. 1 in Italy. He is worth €100 million, but he is a free agent so he is a bargain.

"I'm already negotiating with many teams in England and Italy. I talked with Juventus, Roma, Napoli, Inter.

"AC Milan? No, because there is [sporting director Massimiliano] Mirabelli, and I can't talk with him, I'm not at his level."

There has been calls for Balotelli to return to the Italy squad and it's actually hard to argue that the 27 year-old is one of his country's best striker right now, Andrea Belotti has only grabbed five Serie A goals this season although Ciro Immobile has got 23.

The thought of Balotelli back in the Premier League can only delight and whilst it didn't go according to plan at Anfield there's no doubt on his current form he would improve three quarters of the teams in England's top tier right now.

We look forward to finding out where Mario ends up.
