Raheem Sterling Isn't Happy About Being Offered To Arsenal

Pep Guardiola is desperate to do a deal for Alexis Sanchez and Raheem Sterling could make way to allow the Arsenal forward to join the team.

Of all the names to have got pulled into the transfer window vortex we weren't expecting Raheem Sterling's name to appear but lo and behold that's exactly what happened this morning and apparently he's ecstatic about it.

Throughout the summer there's been the occasional story about someone different but half of the transfer stories have revolved around Alexis Sanchez, Philippe Coutinho, Gareth Bale, Romelu Lukaku, Alvaro Morata, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Diego Costa.

Another 30% of transfers stories have come from AC Milan who seem to have totally revolutionised their squad and Everton must take up another 5%, I thank them all for their services to my articles this summer.

With just days left of the transfer window there's still some of those big sagas to sort out but no doubt some transfers will come out of the 'panic buy' woodwork. Raheem Sterling might not be a panic buy but it certainly came from left of centre.

The news today is that City are willing to let the former Liverpool winger go in order to grab Alexis Sanchez before the end of play on Thursday. And, according to the Guardian, Sterling is 'baffled' by the decision to let him go but would consider a move back to London.

The 22 year-old Jamaican born Englishman moved to London aged five and his first club was QPR, where he was a youth player, before he moved to the north west with Liverpool and then City.

He cost the Citizens an initial £44 million in the summer of 2015 after a bitter transfer away from Anfield and he's highly thought of as a big player for the future at the Etihad but that future has been put in huge doubt.

There are contradictory reports with some saying that City want to sign Sanchez in a money only deal and that it's Arsenal who have enquired into Sterling or Sergio Aguero being part of the deal.

Do you think Sanchez will move before Friday?
