Premier League Side Eyeing Up Shock Swoop For Iker Casillas

Liverpool were supposedly keen on Iker Casillas, and it appears another Premier League outfit are also eyeing up the Spanish keeper.

Jurgen Klopp set his sights on Casillas following the blunders committed by Simon Mignolet.

The Belgium has been at fault for Liverpool with Klopp apparently planning on bolstering his options ahead of the transfer window which opens next month.

But if he's serious about signing Casillas then he'll have to fend off competition from a fellow top flight English club.

According to reports from Spanish outlet AS, Newcastle United are tracking Casillas' situation at Porto.

Casillas is reportedly frustrated with the lack of first team football at Porto, with reports claiming he could be swayed with a move away as he enters the final stages of his illustrious career.

Could the legendary stopper who's plied most of his career in the La Liga with Real Madrid venture to the Premier League?

The 36-year-old spent his entire career at the iconic Santiago Bernabeu before moving to Portugal in 2015.

Though it seems like his playing days with Porto are numbered. Here's hoping Casillas will finish his glittering career in England.
