Jack Grealish had a dismal season, but has realised some of his potential after impressing with the England under-21's, where Premier League clubs are believed to be firmly back on the Grealish bandwagon.

Since being relegated with Aston Villa, Grealish has been on international duty with the under-21's in the Toulon Tournament. His performances haven't gone unnoticed as Mark Hughes' Stoke City have emerged as favourites to land the young prospect while Spurs and Everton are also keen, according to The Telegraph. It looks like Grealish will likely remain in England's top flight despite recording an embarrassing statistic.

Stoke will be without the services of Ibrahim Afellay who sustained a serious knee injury which will see him miss most of next season, so Hughes is on the hunt for a player who can replace him identifying Grealish as the ideal replacement.

The 20-year-old was unable to make a impact during the campaign subsequently seeing Villa get relegated, yet he's still viewed as a promising talent after given the opportunity by Tim Sherwood. The arrival of Remi Garde saw his playing time decrease, as well as being demoted to the under-21's when he was photographed in Manchester partying on the back of a humiliating display against Everton.

Villa are still without a manager following Remi Garde's departure, though Roberto Di Matteo is the frontrunner to land the managerial position. The club will be hoping to fill the vacancy soon so the incoming manager can persuade the Villa starlet to remain in the second-tier with his boyhood team.
