Philippe Coutinho has been on the verge of leaving Anfield about three times this summer but according to reports today it seems that he's now ready to leave Liverpool for Barcelona to replace Neymar.

All summer Coutinho's potential move has been talked about. For most of the time it was to Barcelona but occasionally PSG have jumped into the picture but a move to Spain always looked most likely.

At one point the Brazilian was part of the Neymar rumour with Ernesto Valverde reportedly wanting to bring the midfielder to Catalunya in order to stop Neymar from heading to the French capital, a plan with several holes in it clearly.

Now though several outlets are reporting that Coutinho does want to leave for the Camp Nou, he simply doesn't want to cause up a stir with the Reds before it happens.

Brazilian news 'outlet' UOL also reported today that they'd spoken to people close to the former Espanyol midfielder and claim that the 25 year-old from Rio de Janeiro already has his bags packed to leave.

Of course by wanting everything done 'amicably' it suggests that Coutinho is not willing to put in a transfer request which means that Jurgen Klopp's team are in a stronger position to the keep him in the Premier League.

UOL also reported on PSG's chances of stealing the player from under the nose of Valverde and say that the €110 million price tag that Barca are likely to have to pay plus the player's desire to move to the Camp Nou make that idea unlikely.

Of course Liverpool won't want to sell but it's important that they do it early so they've got plenty of time to replace the player.

Barcelona will have to pay a lot now that teams know they have lots of money.

This transfer will surely happen soon.
