German paper Süddeutsche Zeitung yesterday reported that Mario Gotze's career at Bayern Munich was over.
The report claimed that Bayern and Dortmund had agreed a fee of €23 million and it is expected to be announced later this week. With the German international earning €12 million a season at Bayern, Gotze will take a €4m pay cut to rejoin his old club.
And Pep Guardiola has suggested why Gotze failed at Bayern Munich.
€23million? Absolute bargain.
