Neymar Responds Brilliantly When Asked If He'd Join Manchester United

The Brazilian starlet has claimed next season will be the most important in his life.

The Neymar to Manchester United transfer rumours just don't go away, and the Brazilian had a brilliant response when he was asked if he'd make the switch.

Even though the 25-year-old penned a new long term contract last year, he continues to be subject to intense transfer speculation with an 'absurd' move to United muted.

"Neymar is absurd." Jose Mourinho perfectly describing the insane £170-odd million transfer rumours. "A club like Barcelona cannot and will not lose Neymar," he added.

Despite being very happy, Neymar refuses to rule out a potential switch.

"Who knows what will happen tomorrow? I'm very happy for now, very well adjusted. But anything can happen, who knows," he said via Goal.

But when he was pressed on whether he'd consider leaving the Camp Nou for Old Trafford, Neymar comically responded by saying, "Yes, or Eibar!"

Barcelona endured a somewhat disappointing 2016/17 season having just bagged the Copa del Rey. They were runners-up to Real Madrid in the La Liga and exposed in the Champions League with Juventus eventually dumping them out.

Though Neymar is hoping next season under new boss Ernesto Valverde will be a more successful campaign.

"I hope it will be a season with a lot of success and a lot of happiness."

"I'm getting ready for it. It's going to be one of the most important seasons of my life. It will be the most important season of my life. So I'm really happy and really excited, and I'm going to start training and get prepared," he added.

Neymar is determined to produce the goods in what will be his 'most important season' of his life, but will he ever grace England's top flight during his career?
