Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly handed in a transfer request to leave Borussia Dortmund today.

It has been reported for some time that the striker would leave Westfalenstadion, with many suggesting that a move to Real Madrid is on the cards.

The striker's comments shortly after Dortmund's win over Werder Bremen also raised huge questions over his immediate future.

When asked about whether he would stay at the club, Aubameyang replied: "I don't know, we will see. We should decide next week."

The translator's reaction says it all. He looked at the 27-year-old in shock, as Aubameyang tried to defend his comments.

After the awkward look, Aubameyang theh said to his translator: "Say what you want. We will see. I have to talk with the club next week and then we will see."

The translator then said: "But what about the cup final?"

According to German publication BILD, the 27-year-old forward met with PSG's director of football Patrick Kluivert to discuss a potential move, back in early May.

A number of reliable sources also claim that Aubameyang is close to signing for the Ligue 1 side and will reach an agreement soon.

BILD also claim that the Gabonese international will earn around €14m a year at Paris Saint Germain.

According to another source, French publication Le Parisien, Aubameyang is the club's plan B if they fail to sign Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.

Back in February, Aubameyang dropped a huge hint about his future at Borussia Dortmund.

The 27 year-old told French station Radio RMC: "I am asking myself the question, if I want to take the next step, should I not leave?

"Real Madrid is still a dream, but there has been too much noise. I have an important choice to make. Many people would like to see me in England."
