Victor Wanyama has admitted he could return to Celtic in the future, once he has completed his ambition of conquering the Premier League with Tottenham.

The Kenyan midfielder became a cult hero amongst the Hoops support for his powerful and composed performances which saw Neil Lennon's side reach the last-16 of the Champions League back in 2012.

Wanyama moved on to Southampton for a fee of £12 million in the summer of 2013 and moved to Spurs in 2016 after cementing his reputation as one of the English top-flight's best holding midfielders.

But the 26-year-old has been reflecting on his time spent in Glasgow and it seems he'd be open to a second spell at Parkhead one day in the future.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Celtic Quick News, Wayama said: "My biggest influence was the gaffer Neil Lennon he drove me on to have more hunger and desire and to never give up" exclaimed Wanyama.

"I've still got a lot of love for the club and I still follow the club, so who knows I might be back at the club in the future."

He's still young enough to return to Celtic before hanging up his boots - but can you imagine a Brendan Rodgers' team with Wanyama pulling the strings in midfield? As if the Bhoys weren't dominant enough in the SPL already.
