The news of Ronald Koeman's impending move to Everton may have only broken in the last 24 hours, yet the Southampton manager's imminent departure is set to trigger an exodus of exits from St. Mary's.
Koeman is expected to sign a £6m-per-year contract with the Toffees to replace the recently fired Roberto Martinez in the Goodison dugout and three Southampton first team favourites are being tipped to follow him out of the exit door on the South coast.
Victor Wanyama and strike pair Shane Long and Graziano Pelle are all being tipped to sign for new clubs, with Spurs strongly linked with Wanyama and Long. Long was scouted by Mauricio Pochettino during a recent Republic of Ireland friendly and Wanyama was courted by the White Hart Lane club last Summer, although Saints managed to resist Tottenham's overtures, but may not be so lucky this time, especially given the Champions League money Daniel Levy will be able to throw at the deal.
Pelle, meanwhile, fell out favour with Koeman, last season but will likely still wish to leave for pastures new even with the 53-year-old heading for Merseyside.
Advert
As if those potential losses weren't already enough, Sadio Mane is being tracked by Liverpool, although his £40m price tag may prove to rich for the Merseyside club's transfer committee.
