Real Madrid are readying an audacious 65m euro bid for Bayern Munich's David Alaba, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
'Los Blancos' are looking to capture a marquee signing after their failure in the pursuit of Paul Pogba, who now seems destined for Manchester United.
Real have long been linked with Alaba, with the Austrian's father stating in June that he was "proud" that his son was on the wishlist of Real.
Despite the hefty sum the European champions are willing to part with for the left-back, Bayern are believed to want Portuguese centre-half Pepe adding to the deal, as well.
