In his latest interview, the former Cagliari man confirmed to Belgian magazine Nina that there have indeed been talks between Chelsea and representatives from the 'Giallorossi' but as of yet, no deal has been agreed between the two parties and the 28-year-old is staying out of any discussions until a deal can be resolved.

"There has been contact between the clubs. But as long as there's no agreement, I stay out of it."It would be very difficult to leave Italy, after 11 years. Chelsea want to strengthen their squad. Chelsea are a big club."
Following on from this interview, Nainggolan has gone one further and revealed that Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard have pestered him to join them at Stamford Bridge.
"Conte wants to bring me to Chelsea. Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard have already asked me to join them, but I want to focus on the Euros."
So, despite the talks being held, it's unlikely any deal will be confirmed before the end of the European Championships.
