Paul Pogba's potential move to PSG hasn't gone down well in Paris, with fans putting up banners telling him not to move to the club.

Pogba's time at Manchester United could be coming to an end this summer. The midfielder's contract expires at the end of the upcoming season and, according to reports, he's not willing to sign a new deal.

If the World Cup winner won't extend his time at Old Trafford past his current contract then United want to sell him in the transfer window, rather than letting him go for free in a year's time.

PSG are interested and are reportedly ready to offer £50 million for the 28-year-old, who is believed to be 'open' to the move, however clearly some of their fans aren't on board with the transfer.

A banner outside the club's Parc des Princes stadium, put up by some fans, reads "Pogba you should listen to your mother, she doesn't want you here. Neither do we!"

A second banner, with the same message, was put up outside the club's training ground in Saint-Germain en Laye.

The France midfielder, who was part of the Euro 2020 squad who suffered a shock second round exit at the hands of Switzerland, was born in the Paris suburb of Lagny-sur-Marne.

Despite being boring in the French capital, Pogba is a Marseille fan and that is likely the reason for fans of their rivals not wanting the midfielder to arrive.

As a youngster he played for Le Havre, before moving to United at the age of just 16 in 2009.

Pogba returned to United in 2016, after four years with Juventus, but his time in the Premier League has been full of controversy and criticism.

His agent Mino Raiola claimed the midfielder's time at United was over last season, on the eve of a huge Champions League game which Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team went on to lose against RB Leipzig.

After that though Pogba's form improved and it looked like he might end up signing a new contract with the club. Now it seems that Raiola's words back in December worth the truth.

PSG have already had a big summer in the transfer window, signing Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos and Georginio Wijnaldum all on free transfers and spending £54 million an Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan.

Adding Pogba would show just how serious they are to finally break their Champions League hoodoo.
