A player Sir Alex Ferguson failed to sign in 2012 is once again being linked with a move to Manchester United as Jose Mourinho plots a bid.

The Portuguese is keen to strengthen his squad ahead of the second half of the season, as they mount a challenge to hunt down City in the league, while harbouring ambition of European glory.

And reports suggest he's eyeing up a Paris Saint-Germain player.

Many of Unai Emery's charges continue to do the rounds in the transfer rumour mills. From Angel Di Maria to Julian Draxler.

Not to mention Lucas Moura who's attracting interest from Mourinho, per Sky Sports.

The United boss remains hellbent on signing a winger after his unsuccessful attempt to lure Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic in the summer.

Moura has had his playing time severely reduced this campaign as a result of the slew of mega signings from the French giants.

The Brazilian is yet to start a league match this season, and is naturally courting interest from around Europe.

Moura joined the French outfit in 2012, with PSG beating United to his services.

Sir Alex wanted to sign the player before he opted to join Ligue 1.

The long-serving United boss described Moura as an 'immensely talented right winger', and tabled a £35 million offer, only to be trumped by PSG's £45 million bid.

But, six years after their initial attempt, it appears Mourinho is keen to reignite the transfer by bringing him to Old Trafford, this month.
