Manchester United may yet land one of their transfer targets from last Summer and use one of last year's signings as part of the deal, with the Red Devils reportedly ready to offer Memphis to Southampton in order to bring Sadio Mane to the club.
United were linked with a £25m move for Mane as the Summer transfer window came to a close but a deal failed to materialise. However, with Saints manager Ronald Koeman a keen admirer of Memphis, The Daily Star are reporting he may allow Mane to depart St. Mary's should the Dutch winger come the other way.
Memphis has failed to settle at Old Trafford and, despite a promising start at the Theatre of Dreams, the former PSV Eindhoven youngster has struggled for form and would likely welcome a chance to revive his career at another Premier League club.
