Riyad Mahrez's proposed transfer to Arsenal seems to take a new turn every day, with the move looking like a done deal early last week, before reports circled that Mahrez wasn't interested in a big money move, seemingly confirming Claudio Ranieri's beliefs that the Algerian winger would remain at the King Power stadium. Now though, reports in Algeria are claiming that the PFA Player Of The Year is desperate to move to the Gunners.
Algerian website Le Buteur have claimed that "Wenger met with the player and his agent in order to convince them (to join Arsenal) and finally Mahrez agreed."
The website also claim that the Foxes inability to convince Mahrez to sign a new contract at the club, as Jamie Vardy recently did, confirms that the winger has no interest in remaining with the Premier League champions.
Arsene Wenger was present during Leicester's recent friendly with PSG, apparently to scout Mahrez and the Arsenal manager's presence at the match reportedly annoyed Leicester officials.

Will the deal go through, though? We fully expect a few more twists and turns before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
