After a historic weekend in which they moved a step closer to the Premier League title and confirmed their place in the Champions League for the first time ever, Leicester City have kept the exciting news flowing for their fans after it was revealed club officials had been scouting in Serie A over the weekend.
The Foxes Director of Sport John Rudkin attended Fiorentina's 2-0 defeat against Empoli at the Stadio Castellani, according to Sport Mediaset where he was keeping an eye on midfielder Josip Ilicic.
Ilicic is currently under contract with the Florence club until 2018, but with Claudio Ranieri set for an influx of transfer funds to bolster his squad ahead of another huge campaign at the King Power Stadium, it isn't believed Ilicic's remaining two years at 'La Viola' will be much of an issue.

Ilicic has been in impressive form this season, finding the net 12 times in 25 games.
