Claudio Ranieri is wasting no time in identifying the players he wants to strengthen his Leicester City team ahead of their Premier League title defence, next season.

At the top of Ranieri's list is Arsenal's injured and out of favour Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. It is believed 'The Ox' will be allowed to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer after an inconsistent few years in North London and Ranieri sees the young winger as an ideal signing.

It isn't thought that Chamberlain's injury problems are a cause for concern for Ranieri, who wants players with Premier League and Champions League experience, both of which the 22-year-old has while also having the benefit of having youth on his side.

A fee for the winger hasn't been mentioned but it is believed Arsene Wenger would be looking to make a profit on the £12m he spent on the Southampton academy product in 2012.

Chamberlain has scored 14 goals in 149 appearances during his four years with Arsenal, winning 24 England caps in that time.
