Juventus are reportedly eyeing up a sensational move for Tottenham's Christian Eriksen.

The Serie A champions have already reinforced their midfield ahead of the new season. They've signed both Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot on free transfers.

But despite snapping up two central midfielders, manager Maurizio Sarri is keen to sign one more 'big-name midfielder' and it appears he's identified Eriksen as that player.

The Denmark international has just one year left on his current contract with the creative-midfielder expressing his desire to take on a new challenge at the end of last season.

"I feel that I am at a stage of my career where I would like to try something new," he told the Danish newspaper, Ekstra Bladet.

"I have the deepest respect for everything that is happening at Tottenham and it would not be something negative to stay. But I have also said that I would like to try something new.

"I hope that something will be decided this summer. That is the plan. In football you never know when there could be a decision like that. It could be at any point. The best thing is always for it to happen quickly, but in football things take time."

The 27-year-old has enjoyed six seasons at Spurs, but he hasn't won a trophy during his time in North London.

Juventus had shown an interest in re-signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United as well as Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Though Sarri has switched his attention to Eriksen. Will he swap London for Turin? Watch this space.
