Having revived his career at Nice, this season following his Hull City nightmare, Hatem Ben Arfa has become one of European football's hottest properties and, with his contract at the Ligue Un club expiring, the French attacker has chosen his next destination.

Barcelona and Real Madrid had both been rumoured to be considering a move for the former Newcastle United man, but instead Ben Arfa has opted to sign for one of their La Liga rivals, Sevilla.

The Europa League specialists will be under the management of former Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli, next season and will be hoping that Ben Arfa can bring with him the form that almost booked him a place in Didier Deschamps' France squad for Euro 2016. There were many who believed that Ben Arfa's 18 goals and six assists during the 2015/16 campaign were more than enough to earn him a place in the squad but it now looks as though he'll have to prove himself to Deschamps in La Liga, instead.

Sevilla will be able to make Ben Arfa feel right at home as they also have Adil Rami on their books, having moved from Milan last summer, while fellow Frenchmen Benoit Tremoulinas, Timothee Kolodziejczak, Steven N'Zonzi and Kevin Gameiro have all shone since joining the club.
