Manchester United are hoping their rivals Manchester City don't manage to sign Harry Kane this summer, and not just because of their title push for the upcoming season.
Kane caused huge shockwaves on Monday when he failed to return to training for Tottenham Hotspur, as he attempts to force a move away from the club.

The England captain has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City, with Daniel Levy reportedly holding out for around £160 million for the forward.
City are also linked with a £100 million move for Jack Grealish and signing both men would all but end the Premier League title race before the season even begins.
However, that's not actually the reason that United are hoping Kane turns down their rivals and it's actually to do with their own transfer plans.
According to the Daily Star, Kane remains on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's wanted list, as the 13 times champions line up a striker next summer.
The Red Devils have made Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane their top two targets this summer and, having already signed Sancho, are on the verge of adding Varane.

Next up Solskjaer is hoping to add a more defensive midfielder and right back, although that is likely dependent on the club selling players.
The manager, who has recently signed a new contract, is set to be backed with funds this time next year and a striker would then be his priority, with Edinson Cavani set to leave when his contract ends.
Kane is one of their targets along with Erling Haaland, and there is going to be one hell of a battle to sign the Borussia Dortmund striker.

Chelsea would like to sign Haalan this summer, but have been quoted £175 million to buy him, but next summer the 21-year-old will cost a lot less.
The Norwegian has a transfer release clause of around £65 million which comes into effect in a year's time, and will likely see Chelsea, United, City in competition, potentially with Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG and Bayern Munich.
If last season's runners up in England's top tier can't sign a midfielder and right back then they will also remain on Solskjaer's wanted list this time next year.
Either way, they'll hope Kane doesn't move to the Etihad Stadium.
