Manchester United have reportedly agreed with Sporting CP for the signing of Bruno Fernandes for £68 Million including clauses and add-ons. This will be United's first signing of the January Transfer Window.

After an extended saga lasting from the Summer of 2019, Manchester United may have finally got their man in Bruno Fernandes. Bruno will cost just under £68 Million including clauses and buy-outs.

United have been negotiating with Sporting CP since the first week of the January Transfer Window according to Simon Stone of the BBC and the deal looks like it's at completion with the transfer price agreed.

Reported by The Times and Portuguese website, Record, Fernandes is set to join the Red Devils after rumours of Barcelona bidding for the Portuguese Midfielder.

Other Media officials such as Fabrizio Romano, Paul Hirst, and Simon Peach have confirmed the deal soon after the initial report from Duncan Castles.

The deal will consist of a base deal of £47 Million with £8.5 Million in easily achievable add-ons, then £12.5 Million in more complicated add-ons, such as a supposed Ballon D'Or clause.

Fernandes has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona in the past 12 Months with Barcelona reportedly bidding for the midfielder earlier this week.

However, it looks like United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will finally be getting their target who has been linked with the Red Devils since the Summer of 2018.

Fernandes has already scored 15 goals and created 14 assists in 28 games for Sporting CP.

Manchester United have been struggling with squad depth recently with long-term injuries to Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, and Marcus Rashford.
