Mesut Ozil could be on his way out of Arsenal as European giants make him their main summer transfer target.

According to reports in Italy, Juventus head coach Max Allegri has identified Gunners playmaker as the ideal player to take them to European glory.

Juve have won the Scudetto for the fifth successive time, and could also win the Coppa Italia for a second time in a row, yet it's the UEFA Champions League where the Old Lady have failed to capture since the 95/96 season. Finalist twice since then, the Italians are looking for that special player to enhance their European chances.

Despite Arsenal wanting to make the German international their first £200k-a-week player, failure to win silverware could see the 27-year-old consider his future.

Juventus will also try and hope they can use Sami Khedira to convince him to move to Serie A. The pair are International colleagues, friends and former teammates at Real Madrid where they spent three seasons together.

The World Cup winner joined Arsenal for a club-record £42.5 million from Real Madrid, during his spell he's only managed to lift the FA Cup, albeit twice, which was Aresnal's first piece of silverware for nine years.

Ultimately, it's been another disappointing campaign for the North London side though Ozil has produced his best form in an Aresnal shirt compiling 19 assists which saw him get nominated for PFA Player of the Year.
