It looks like the end of the Jamie Vardy era at Leicester City as Claudio Ranieri has now confirmed Arsenal's interest in the Foxes' striker, in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Gunners have taken advantage of the clause in Vardy's recently signed contract, whereby a club competing in the Champions League can bid £22m for the England international and Leicester are duty bound to accept the offer and allow them to discuss a contract with Vardy.

No representatives of Leicester had commented on the matter, but the widespread reporting in the media suggested that there could be no smoke without fire but today, with just three words to Gazzetta, Claudio Ranieri confirmed the news no Leicester fan wanted to hear.
When asked about the Gunners' bid for the 29-year-old, Ranieri simply said "It's all true".
Arsenal are believed to be wanting to tie the deal for Vardy up before the European Championships in France kick off on Friday.
