Antonio Conte may already be in possession of a Premier League title winning squad, but the Italian is keen to strengthen his champions further, this summer. But the Chelsea manager's task is being made harder by his compatriot, Carlo Ancelotti.

In a bid to bolster his own set of champions, Bayern Munich manager Ancelotti has reportedly identified Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso as one of his top targets for the summer.

It just so happens that Conte also wants Tolisso at Stamford Bridge.

BeIN Sports are reporting that Bayern representatives have contacted Lyon about Tolisso's availability and have entered into discussions about signing the 22-year-old.

Tolisso, who made is international debut for France during a 2-0 loss to Spain, earlier this year, is the latest in a long line of promising French starlets to catch the attention of several of Europe's biggest clubs.

The likes of Kylian Mbappe, Thomas Lemar, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Benjamin Mendy and Anthony Martial have all come through the ranks in the past couple of years, with Martial becoming the world's most expensive teenager in 2015 when Manchester United spent £36 million for him.

Mbappe could soon make Martial's fee look like loose change, however, if Real Madrid's rumoured 135 million euro offer for the 18-year-old is accepted by Monaco.

Tolisso, meanwhile, made 47 appearances for Lyon, last season, scoring 14 goals. The 22-year-old helped Les Gones to the semi-final of the Europa League, where they were defeated by Ajax.

It is believed Juventus are also interested in the France international, so Chelsea's board may need to up their efforts to land the midfielder, before he decides a move to Germany or Italy would actually be his preferred choice, rather than a switch to the Premier League.
