Arsenal's Summer transfer business is once again frustrating their fans, with the signing of Granit Xhaka not being supplemented by new arrivals of a similar level. And it looks as if Riyad Mahrez is set to add to frustration levels, with a reported £37m move for the Algerian winger set to collapse.
Reports in France are claiming that the PFA Player Of The Year is not motivated by a big money move and would rather play for a club with an established style of play, which he is currently enjoying at Premier League champions, Leicester.
Mahrez was reported to be all set for a move to North London last week, but the move has since stalled, with Claudio Ranieri stating that Mahrez is an "intelligent man" who would rather remain in the East Midlands, following in the footsteps of teammate Jamie Vardy, who also turned down a move to Arsene Wenger's side, this Summer.
