Nevermind 'inside sources' or talkative agents, it seems that nowadays the best way to figure out whether a transfer deal is taking place or not is by checking a footballer's social media activity.
The latest player to hint at a move is Bordeaux's 19-year-old Algerian winger Adam Ounas, who has suddenly gone on a following spree of Manchester United players, on Instagram.
French news outlet RMC reported last week that Napoli, Stoke City, Southampton and United had all tabled bids for the promising youngster, who has an asking price of around 10m euros. Now Ounas has followed United's official Twitter account as well as the Instagram accounts of club captain Wayne Rooney, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
Of course, this could just be a coincidence, but with United having shown a strong interest in the winger, it's certainly suspicious that he would follow so many of their first team members and an official club account, too. We expect to hear a lot more about this story in the coming days.
