Nemanja Matic Reportedly Set For Jose Mourinho Reunion In January

Nemanja Matic is currently linked to re-join his old Manager Jose Mourinho at Tottenham in January. Matic has only made five appearances this Season for Manchester United.

Nemanja Matic has been without Jose Mourinho now for one year. With both Matic and Jose Mourinho suffering withdrawal symptoms from one another, January might be the time for them to reunite.

According to Bleacher Report, Manchester United are willing to sell the Serbian Midfielder to Mourinho for £15 Million. The Serb joined United in the Summer of 2017 for just over £30 Million from Chelsea.

However for United fans, any chances of a swap with Christian Eriksen are said to be unlikely, as the Dane would prefer to move to La Liga. Juventus are also being linked.

Matic has been one of Mourinho's long-term 'Generals' with Matic winning the Premier League and League Cup under Mourinho while also amassing 150 appearances under the Portuguese Manager, good enough for his eighth most played player.

Matic has barely been playing for Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this Season with him only making two appearances in the Premier League, and three in the Europa League.

Matic has been trophy-less in his tenure at Manchester United in the two-and-a-half seasons at the Club.
