Paul Pogba's future at Manchester United was suddenly thrown into doubt recently after a poor run of form and some criticism from Jose Mourinho. But the player's agent has denied those doubts and revealed why Pogba won't be leaving anytime soon.

Last Sunday Paul Pogba proved there were still some glowing embers of his form when he played well in United's 2-1 win over Chelsea, even if he was partially at fault for the Blues' goal.

Before then the Frenchman had been ill, out of form and dropped in the space of a week with many reporting a falling out with his manager and questions over his future at Old Trafford.

Considering he cost United £89 million just 18 months ago any sale would certainly prove that it was a waste and a huge backfire on both parties behalf.

But the former Juventus man's agent, Mino Raiola, explained why Pogba won't be leaving Old Trafford, possibly for a long time, explaining what he'd like to do before finding a new club. Talking to Italian tv channel RAI Sport Raiola said:

"If things are not going well, I try to do my job, to find satisfactory solutions for my players and the clubs. At the moment, Paul hasn't told me anything and I know he won't move without having won a title.

"There isn't as big a war with Mourinho as has been reported, but in the transfer market, you never tell the truth and you can never say never."

So Pogba won't be leaving until he wins the title with United although he also says that 'you can never say never,' although that probably to cover his back if the Red Devils don't win it in the next two years.

There's no doubt that recently the 24 year old's form has not been good enough for United but early in the season he was playing well and he still has nine Premier League assists to his name.

Mourinho will be hoping those burning embers from last week can continue to grow and next season he could be back on fire, United will need that if they are to recapture the title. Although maybe he would leave after that...
