It's no secret that the club are hellbent on a new No.1 following their renewed interest in De Gea as well as Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois.
The 26-year-old's current contract is due to expire in 2019 though there's an option to extend his Old Trafford stay. And speaking about his future, De Gea remained coy on the growing speculation.
"Nobody knows the future." He told AS via MEN. "The future is the future. I'm very happy at United, it's a great club. In England football is much enjoyed."

"Madrid? I will not talk about that. On that subject I will not talk any more. Now I must stay focused with my club."
The Spaniard has admitted the league title is out of reach but is hoping to clinch a remarkable treble with Jose's charges in the running for three cup competitions.
"We are already in the final of the League Cup and we are still fighting for the FA Cup and the Europa League to continue making history in this club. We have to give the team time to win the Premier League again."
