Once Jose Mourinho was appointed Manchester United manager, he immediately trimmed his squad ahead of the season, offloading players deemed surplus to requirements while sending some on loan to experience first-team football.

Including Andreas Pereira. The 20-year-old is currently enjoying regular football on loan at Spanish side Granada. But it appears the youngster is open to cutting his spell with the La Liga side short if Mourinho requires his services.

The Belgium born Brazilian featured 11 times last season opening his United account scoring a superb free-kick against Ipswich and has since started nine league games for his new side.

Despite the Portuguese splashing out £27 million on Borussia Dortmund's Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the Armenian playmaker has failed to emulate his form in the Bundesliga to the Premier League. I guess it doesn't help with injuries and a lack of faith from your gaffer.

And according to Mirror Football, Mourinho and Pereira are in regular dialogue as well as assuring his future lies at Old Trafford. Employing a role on the wing for Granada could prompt Mourinho to recall him not to mention bolstering his squad offering competition for the likes of the aforementioned Mkhitaryan and Juan Mata.
