Manchester United Flop Tops Pep's Guardiola Summer Transfer Wish List

Manchester United Flop Tops Pep's Guardiola Summer Transfer Wish List

It's no secret that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is plotting a massive squad overhaul once the transfer window reopens in the summer.

The Spaniard will be eyeing up new talent ahead of the 2017/18 season as he continues to stamp his identity on the City playing squad.

And further reports claim that City are planning a move for former Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha.

The 24-year-old completed a switch to Old Trafford in 2013 after rising to prominence at Palace, though failed to make a significant impression.

He was loaned back to Palace before the South-London outfit eventually brought him back on a permanent deal.

The Ivory Coast international is proving to be a hit, producing the goods as Palace climb away from the relegation spaces.

And the in-form Palace winger has alerted plenty of clubs including that of City. Though they face stiff competition.

As well as City, Spurs are monitoring Zaha's situation as they prepare to table a £25 million offer in the summer.

Needless to say, Palace are reluctant to let one of their best players leave Selhurst Park. They are prepared to make Zaha the highest earner at the club to ward off interest.

It's believed they are set to offer him a £110-a-week contract which would overtake Christian Benteke as the best paid player.

Though could a switch to the other side of Manchester be too hard to turn down? Watch this space.
