Manchester United fans will be wondering where the Alexis Sanchez their side were supposed to be signing is and sources inside Manchester United are starting to worry they'll never see him as the player is showing signs akin to Angel di Maria.
In January it looked all set that Manchester City would finally get their hands on Alexis Sanchez, after trying to sign him in the previous summer too, but instead United swooped in and blew them out of the water with their offer, off he went to Old Trafford.
It was seen as a good transfer coup by pretty much everyone, a world class forward in a side that often struggles to attack. However the optimism has soon dissipated and the Chilean has scored just once in his opening 10 games.
At the weekend Jose Mourinho decided to rest, or drop whichever you prefer, the former Barcelona winger to the bench as United took on Brighton in the FA Cup, another worrying sign.

However that's far from the end of it. According to the Daily Mail people inside the club are worrying that he could be another Angel di Maria and the 29 year old is unhappy and lonely guy at the club, often eating on his own in the canteen.
One source told the paper, "He looks like someone who doesn't want to be here. The whole thing doesn't seem right and he looks like a lost boy. It was the same with Di Maria."
Those inside the club are worried that he is already regretting his decision to move to Old Trafford and he is drawing comparisons with former record breaking transfer Angel di Maria.

The Argentine moved to Old Trafford in Louis van Gaal's first season in charge and the move was also a huge coup with his last game for Real Madrid before the move being a man of the match performance in the Champions League final.

After a bright start to his time in the Premier League he picked up an injury, never found his best form again and became more and more unhappy with life in England, leaving for PSG in the summer.

Right now considering his massive wages the Parisians would be one of the few options for Sanchez if he did decide to leave.
Jose Mourinho did recently warn the former Udinese players' best form wouldn't be seen till next year and fans will be hoping that's the case, rather than the worrying possibility that Sanchez flops.
