Manchester City have already splashed the cash on new full-backs, but it seems like Pep Guardiola is plotting another deal to bring in one more before the transfer window slams shut.

Guardiola has shelled out over £100 million on full-backs during this summer window. Kyle Walker arrived from Premier League rivals Spurs for a massive £50 million.

Not to mention AS Monaco's Benjamin Mendy and Real Madrid's Danilo. Though with three new additions to his side, he's hoping to make another.

Reports in Spain via City Watch suggest the City boss has tabled an £18.4 million bid for Aaron Martin. Though the Espanyol defender has a much higher release clause.

The 20-year-old has a £27.5 million release clause in his current contract with City in discussion with the player about swapping the La Liga for the Premier League.

The left-sided defender has been attracting plenty of interest with Real Madrid failing to secure his services a few years ago.

City have been closely monitoring the Spaniard and are hoping to add him to their squad as a natural back up to Mendy.

The Frenchman has yet to feature for City following his £52 million transfer but has made an instant impression on social media.

Meanwhile, City target Martin spent 10 years with the Espanyol youth academy before breaking into the B team in 2015.

After one season with the second string, Martin then made his La Liga bow in 2016 since making 30 league appearances.

Following the 1-1 draw with Everton at the Etihad, Guardiola takes his charges to Bournemouth on Saturday lunch time. And he'll be without Walker who was sent off on Monday night after picking up two cautions in the first-half.
