There's already lots of talk about the comings at Manchester United this summer but they'll certainly be plenty of goings too. Ligue 1 side Lyon are hoping to take on of their star names if just for a season.

Last summer Jose Mourinho took over as manager at Old Trafford and had his eyes on four signings, he managed to get his hands on all four of them and they've generally worked out.

Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have almost certainly been successes whilst Paul Pogba's impact has split opinion, he's been decent even if his performances in big matches haven't come up to the standard of an £89 million player.

We know already that Mourinho is likely to add to his side with a forward almost certainly a priority, what with Zlatan's injury, Rooney likely to move on and Antoine Griezmann heavily linked as the man to come to Old Trafford.

But with Mourinho preferring to work with a small squad could another forward leave the club? Lyon certainly hope so. According to France Football the Ligue 1 side are hoping to sign Anthony Martial on a season long loan.

Martial was instrumental to Louis van Gaal's side last season, after the Dutchman splashed the cash on the, at the time, virtually unknown forward in the closing days of the summer transfer window.

This season under Mourinho he has struggled to find a permanent place in the team. Playing on the left wing even more than during LvG's time at the club the Frenchman has struggled to have as big an impact.

Mourinho has questioned Martial's commitment to training and finding a way to work better, which he's also done to Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw to good effect. And on Sunday Martial scored United's opener in the win against Burnley.

It led the manager to say of the player, "We are happy because we have a new player until the end of the season. If he wants to become a very special player - he can do that - then he has to go in a certain direction and today he showed this attitude and appetite."

Happier time for Martial could be ahead but the addition of Griezmann could limit his first team opportunities and seek a loan move, Lyon wait with baited breath.
