Philippe who? Liverpool managed to get past local rivals Everton without their MIA Brazilian midfielder on Friday night but they've still made contact with a Premier League club over the Barcelona bound player's replacement.
On Friday night Jurgen Klopp had a tricky tie in the FA Cup third round against local rivals Everton, just weeks after the pair had drawn in the league, and he had to do it with only two of his fab four.
Mo Salah and Philippe Coutinho both missed out through injury and the Brazilian was announced as a Barcelona player a day later.
Instead even with most of the possession the Reds seemed to struggle to break down Sam Allardyce's side with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino often struggling to really threaten.

If it's a sign of times to come then fans may worry about the loss of Coutinho but news from France suggests they might not have to worry too much longer.
According to newspaper L'Equipe the five times Champions League winners have contacted Leicester City over the availability of Riyad Mahrez.
The report says that Claude Puel would obviously rather keep the Algerian winger but the player has been told previously that offers could be accepted if they are satisfactory.

BeIn Sports, meanwhile, say that Liverpool have struck a deal with Leicester for Mahrez.
Ever since the Foxes won the Premier League the winger has been linked with several high profile moves with Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea all previously said to be interested.
Fans generally seem pretty happy with the idea of signing Mahrez:
Monaco's Thomas Lemar, who Arsenal also have a long term interest in, is also reportedly on Klopp's list to replace Coutinho.
